Marugame Uchiwa Fan: Toutsuki Shape (Grape) Handcrafted Kagawa Bamboo & Washi Fan

Marugame Uchiwa Fan: Toutsuki Shape (Grape) Handcrafted Kagawa Bamboo & Washi Fan

Gentle Breeze and Lucky Symbolism Handcrafted by Master Artisans

Handmade in Marugame City, Kagawa Prefecture—Japan's famous capital of traditional fan-making—this Uchiwa is crafted entirely by hand by nationally certified Traditional Craftsmen (Dentou Kougeishi).

Generous Toutsuki Shape: Crafted in the traditional "Toutsuki" style, featuring a rounded, spacious fan face that easily creates a powerful yet comfortable, cooling breeze with every stroke.

Kagawa-grown Madake Bamboo Weaving (Ho-ami): High-quality Madake (timber bamboo) from Kagawa Prefecture is used for the bamboo frame. Meticulously woven strand by strand, the bamboo offers both flexibility and durability, fitting comfortably and naturally in your hand.

Chic & Refreshing Grape Design: Features a grape motif in a tasteful, muted color palette. Its elegant, calm tones lend a chic, stylish, and remarkably refreshing feel—perfect for hot summer days.

Combine authentic Japanese heritage, exceptional craftsmanship, and lucky traditional symbolism in one beautiful piece.
