Kagawa-grown Madake Bamboo Weaving (Ho-ami): High-quality Madake (timber bamboo) from Kagawa Prefecture is used for the bamboo frame. Meticulously woven strand by strand, the bamboo offers both flexibility and durability, fitting comfortably and naturally in your hand. 

Tear-Resistant Mesh Structure: Features a fine mesh layered over the bamboo ribs and beneath the Washi paper, creating an exceptionally tough, tear-resistant fan face.

Coated with Natural Kakishibu (Persimmon Tannin): The Washi paper surface is coated with Kakishibu—a traditional Japanese eco-friendly dye/finish made from fermented unripe green persimmons. This natural coating not only deepens into a rich, rustic brown over time, but also significantly strengthens the paper, making it water-resistant and stain-resistant compared to standard paper fans.
