Shinjo-kun

Shinjo-kun is the official mascot of Susaki City, a beautiful coastal city located in Kochi Prefecture, Japan.

Modelled after the Japanese river otter—which was last seen in Susaki’s Shinjogawa River—Shinjo-kun travels near and far on a heartwarming quest to find his otter friends while proudly promoting his charming hometown. He is easily recognized by his unique hat, which is inspired by Susaki’s famous local delicacy: Nabeyaki Ramen (hot pot ramen).

With his adorable looks and friendly personality, Shinjo-kun brings a touch of Kochi's warmth, culture, and local flavors to friends all around the world!
